8th Grade Graduation

at Synapse School

Back Playground, between buildings 3 & 4


A celebration of our Class of 2022. Graduates and their guests will be celebrating live and in person Wednesday morning, NOW at Synapse. The ceremony will be shared on zoom so that others can also join in the celebration, including family and friends of graduates, as well as other members of our Synapse Community.

Bring your expedition backpack back to school before Wednesday, June 15. You will need to have it to collect your EQ gifts during the graduation ceremony. Backpacks should be dropped off at Sarah & Jennifer's office, upstairs in Building 4. 


Required for all attending in-person ceremony: We need a complete guest list as part of our covid precautions. Please fill out the 21-22 Graduation RSVP before May 30th. 





Prepare for sun! 

Since we will now be gathering in the playground at Synapse, we will be more exposed to direct sun during the ceremony. 

Bring a water bottle - bottle filling stations are available in both Building 3 & 4. 

Wear a sun hat.

Dress for warmer weather.

Wear sunscreen. 

Some shaded seats will be available - please let us know if you need a seat in the shade



Visitor Policy:

  • Masking is optional outdoors and required indoors. 
  • Parents and guests must attest to a negative test result from that morning.
  • Parents & guests must attest to no symptoms.
  • Students: Regular school-day testing will happen Wednesday.
  • Parents & guests: Take an antigen test (provide your own) Wednesday morning. 


Please park at SportsHouse (3151 Edison Way), to the extent possible, and walk over to campus for the ceremony (NOW at Synapse). Limited parking is available in the main Synapse parking lot. Avoid parking in the neighborhood.

Checking In at the event:

When you arrive at Synapse, check in at the Front Desk with a Synapse staff member. You will be asked to attest to a negative test from that morning, and that you are symptom free.
