Positive Test
QUARANTINE AND ISOLATION POLICY

We will follow the new CDC Guidance with slight modifications. If POSITIVE for Covid-19, regardless of vaccination status:
Step 1
- Email covid@synapseschool.org to notify us of either a positive test or exposure.
Step 2
- Stay home for at least 5 days. Day 0 is the date of first positive test or symptom onset.
- Isolation can end on Day 6 if symptom-free or resolving symptoms, and a negative test taken on or after Day 5.
- If fever is present, isolation should continue until fever resolves.
- Wear a well-fitting mask around others for 10 days after a positive test.
Step 3
- Get tested. You must produce a negative test result to return to school.
