On Campus

For the 21-22 school year we are closely following the San Mateo County Pandemic Recovery Framework.

  • Masks are required indoors at school as long as San Mateo County remains in the Medium CDC Community Level. Please ensure your child brings a well-fitting mask with them to school each day.
Physical Distancing
  • “Recent evidence indicates that in-person instruction can occur safely without minimum physical distancing requirements when other mitigation strategies (e.g., masking) are implemented.” Pandemic Recovery Framework
  • Physical distancing will be practiced while eating and drinking, unmasked, outdoors.
  • All classes are held in well-ventilated areas.
  • Updates to campus ventilation:
    • HVAC units run at a fresh air percentage of 30%
    • Merv 13/HEPA filters in all HVAC units and increased frequency of filter changes
    • Roll-up security grill doors in Building 1, allowing us to safely keep them open during the day
    • Floor fans & air filters throughout campus to increase air changes where needed
    • BAF clean air system ceiling fans, in all buildings, to increase air movement and air cleaning
  • All visitors to campus, including parents, alumni, partners, contractors, etc. must show proof of vaccination if they are age-eligible. Masking is optional (both indoors and outside).
