Transitional Kindergarten

Transitional Kindergarten is a great opportunity for older 4 year olds and young 5's. Our youngest change makers have specific developmental needs and love to learn through imaginative play, inquiry, and physical movement, like acting out a story, being creative with art supplies, building with blocks, or having jobs in the classroom.
Synapse’s Transitional Kindergarten is project-based, with hands-on explorations to inspire curiosity and a joy of learning. And because they’re also part of a broader school community, the TK program is designed with the TK-8th grade Synapse journey in mind, incorporating Social-Emotional skills and Synapse Learning Outcomes into daily learning activities.
